BLA BLA CHA CHA

Sherry Shaoling on bravura vocals; Rockford Holmes doing his level best to keep up with her on the saxophones; Noel Okimoto on drums and marimba; Dean Taba on bass; James Ganeko on congas; Perry Coma on piano and synth clavinet.

A fortuitous and fragrant zephyr from the Far East floated this catchy little ditty to the portals of Taboo Recordsʻ grass-shack galactic headquarters, in the form of a bobbling Captain Morganʻs bottle containing a quirkiness-filled CD, recorded a few years back by our absolute favorite Japanese buddies in musical devolution Petty Booka.  Once Ms Sherry made it "hers" in live performance, what else could we do but proudly include it in the CD.

BTW there is no need to fantasize about what disconcerting pulchritude lurks behind Ms Sherryʻs vocal purrings -- just take a gander at our CD cover.  Be warned --  your fantasy smoothie may receive a substantial creative boost from this very act.

Bla bla Bla Bla Cha Cha cha
This is called the Bla Bla Cha Cha cha
Got no words to sing, itʻs true
So we just say, Bla Bla Cha Cha cha

If I could write some words, donʻt you know,
Still you people will say "cha cha cha, letʻs go!"
So weʻll just leave it this way
And weʻll say, itʻs the Bla Bla Cha Cha cha

We like the title with only two "chas" because itʻs soooooo symmetric.
